Anzac Day
On 25th April every year Australians commemorate
Anzac Day.
Anzac Day is the occasion many people lay wreaths in memory of all who have
served
and died in past wars and conflicts by representatives of veterans'
organisations, nations, civic authorities, and youth organisations.
Family members also lay wreath tributes. Loral wreaths are the poignant symbol
of mourning and remembrance.
Lest
We Forget...
They shall not grow old... as we that are
left grow old...
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn
At the going down of the sun, and in the morning...
We will remember them.
